ACIS is a US-based web design and development studio with 15+ years of experience. The list below is short on purpose: four kinds of work we do end to end, from the first sketch to long after launch. If what you need isn’t on this page, we’ll say so — and point you somewhere good.
Every project starts from a blank file, not a theme marketplace. We design custom websites around your content and your customers, then build them by hand — responsive on every screen size, and manageable through a content management system your own team can use without calling us. No page-builder lock-in, no template that looks like three of your competitors. You own a site you can grow, not one you rent and can’t touch.
A good fit if… your current site came from a template, or every small change means paying someone to make it.
We build stores where the shop fits the product instead of the other way around. NAMECLUB, our flagship build, is a custom WooCommerce store for personalised kids’ name tags: customers watch their tag update as they type, pricing reacts to letter count, and bundle discounts apply themselves in the cart. Rules like those are enforced on the server, not just drawn in the browser — so the price a customer sees is the price the store charges. If your product has options, tiers or logic that a stock theme flattens out, this is the work we like best.
A good fit if… you sell something with options, rules or pricing that off-the-shelf checkouts keep flattening out.
Being found and being fast are two halves of the same discipline. We treat search engine optimisation as part of how a site is built — clean structure, honest titles, structured data that search engines can actually read — rather than a bolt-on sold afterwards. The same goes for speed: responsive images generated server-side, self-hosted fonts, and nothing loading that doesn’t earn its bytes. We won’t promise you a ranking, because nobody honest can; we will build a site that deserves one.
A good fit if… the site looks fine but nobody finds it — or it’s slow enough that visitors leave before it loads.
A website isn’t a project that ends — it’s an employee that needs managing. We stay on after launch for the unglamorous work: software updates, security hardening, backups, fixes, and the small improvements that keep a site current. We also train your team properly, so the day-to-day never has to wait on a developer. And when something does need one, you reach a person who already knows your site — not a ticket queue.
A good fit if… your site is live but unloved: out of date, unpatched, or dependent on whoever built it and moved on.
